Todd holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specific to Healthcare Management, is a Board-Certified Human Services Practitioner, Certified Clinical Supervisor, Certified Master Addiction Counselor, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level II, State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level II, Relapse Prevention Specialist, Certified Anger Management Specialist, and Maxwell Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer and Consultant in DISC Personality Profiling. He has over 19 years of experience in the addiction industry and currently the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center, a full continuum of care facility in Ball Ground, GA that targets males and females ages 18 and up.

Whether it be in a healthcare setting or in day-to-day activities, his passion remains to help those around him grow beyond what they think is possible. He believes to do this, developing an amazing culture is not only important, but it is the foundation of all life changing growth. Todd's goal is to continue to be able to carry the message that culture does matter and to help those around him cultivate the circumstances in life that they so deeply desire. Todd will continues to do this through a philosophy of humility, integrity, and service.

Adrian Hickmon’s career began as a football coach for fourteen years, eleven as a head coach at Ouachita Christian High School in Monroe, LA. He served as a Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy in the MFT master’s program at Harding University from its beginning in 1993 until 2013. In 2001 he founded Capstone Treatment Center in Searcy, Arkansas, where he now serves as the Clinical Architect. He holds a PhD in MFT from Virginia Tech, an MA in Substance Abuse Counseling from NE Louisiana University, and a MEd from HU. He is an LPC, an LMFT, and an LADAC. He has over 25,000 hours of therapy / supervision experience. His credentials include CSAT-S, CTT, and CMAT-S. Dr. Hickmon developed the Core-Systems Model which focuses on substance and process addictions, mental health issues, underlying trauma and attachment incapacity, and family conflict resolution and connection. He has presented internationally on these topics. He and his wife JoAnna have been married for 48 years and live in their childhood hometown. They have daughters 44 and 42, twin sons 34, five grandsons 13, 12, 10, 8, and 5 months, a 4-year-old granddaughter and twin granddaughters on the way. His greatest joy is being with his family, especially in God’s great outdoors.

Adam McLean, Psy.D., serves as the Director of Business Development for The Guest House, Dr. McLean attended California University to complete his doctorate in clinical psychology. Dr. McLean continues to research positive psychology, trauma and addiction in effort to be an advisor for those with maladaptive coping behaviors and their families. Dr. McLean first began providing client services in community mental health for a non-profit in Northern Arizona. He assisted in creating a long-term extended care program that combined an outdoor adventure experience with traditional treatment modalities. In continuation with his passion to help those with substance use disorder, Dr. McLean created a long-term treatment center for young adults focusing on substance use disorder and collegiate recovery. Adam’s education and experience has allowed him to help hundreds of families get their loved ones into treatment. Outside of working in behavioral health, Adam enjoys spending time with his son, Jack

Glenda Crump currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer for the Mississippi Public Health Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing public health priorities in Mississippi. As CAO, she is responsible for overall infrasturture development which includes board and staff development, policies and procedures development, resource development and other operational issues. She holds a Master of Communications degree from Mississippi College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Journalism from Tougaloo College. Glenda is a Certified Prevention Manager. She formerly served as CEO of DREAM, Inc. a nonprofit youth substance abuse prevention organization and worked with Friends of Children of MS, Inc., where she directed a program that assisted economically disadvantaged women in starting their own businesses. The program won a national award as was recognized as one of the top ten training programs in the country. She has taught Speech and Business Communications in the Adult and Traditional programs at Belhaven College. Glenda is an in-demand motivational speaker on such topics as team-building, organizational change, and personality styles.

Brooke is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Tn #1492) and a Training and Development Specialist at BrightQuest Treatment Centers. Brooke began her journey at BrightQuest in 2015, taking on various roles from intern to executive leadership while having the opportunity to support and build a thriving therapeutic milieu that has aided hundreds of individuals with severe psychiatric diagnoses and their families successfully build a life of self-management, independence, and belonging. Brooke has had the privilege of speaking at the Association of Intervention Specialists Conference and for Constellation Behavioral Health's CE events. Brooke is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and an approved clinical supervisor in the State of Tennessee.

Dr. Lacey Herrington is a licensed psychologist with the Evaluation Center at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services. She also works with the Professionals Recovery Track, which provides daily group therapy addressing issues of professionalism for professionals receiving treatment in Pine Grove’s residential programs. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2008, as well as her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. Dr. Herrington completed her pre-doctoral internship at Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA from 2014-2015. She was licensed in 2017. Her primary interests include: assessment, personality disorders, substance use disorders, forensic psychology, and trauma.

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, a Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Trauma Therapist. She completed a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. With nearly 20 years in the treatment industry, her clinical experience includes direct client care and executive leadership roles at inpatient, outpatient, and wilderness therapy programs.

Heather has been a part of developing, designing, and opening five dual diagnosis and trauma informed behavioral health substance use programs. Her clinical expertise includes working with the LGBTQ+ community, trauma, mental health, substance use disorders, spirituality, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Her clinical approach is person-centered, holistic, and humanistic, utilizing evidence-based experiential interventions to support the growth of individuals.

Rick is passionate therapist who has built a career around building meaningful connections with young people and families facing difficult circumstances. He specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who suffer from mental health issues and substance use disorders and operates from the perspective that these issues are almost always related to developmental trauma.

By working to strengthen their connections with the world around them, Rick empowers his clients to gain a sense of self-efficacy, belonging, and wholeness that equips them to overcome the specific challenges that they face. He relies heavily on experiential techniques and places enormous value on the development of effective interpersonal relationships.

During the course of his career, Rick has worked in public mental health, residential treatment for substance use disorders, substance use prevention programming, and outpatient therapy practices. In 2016, he co-founded Momentum Recovery in Wilmington, NC, a young adult treatment program providing comprehensive clinical services to young adults in recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Rick is passionate about this work and has experienced the immense healing that comes as a result of healthy, supportive relationships.

Candice was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado until the age of 12 when her family moved to Lindon, Utah. She is a kind and compassionate individual whose desire to help is demonstrated through her genuine concern and dedication to her clients. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of clinical experience, having received her bachelor’s in social work from Utah State University and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah. Candice is EMDR certified and has been EMDR Child Specialist Intensive trained. She most utilizes CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic and Sand Tray in her clinical work and has specializations in working with veterans with military trauma, depression, anxiety, and physical and sexual abuse. Candice loves to encourage change that motivates and empowers her clients to be the best version of themselves, find their potential, and discover the ability to heal. She is currently enrolled at Walden University where she is working towards her Doctorate’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on addictions.

Deidre Fitzpatrick is the Chief Operating Officer at Hired Power, where she works closely with the leadership team to continue growing and developing the services Hired Power can offer through her skills and knowledge of addiction and behavioral health from a nursing perspective.

With over 7 years of nursing experience working in addiction and behavioral health, Deidre served as a nurse manager of an adult-locked psychiatric unit, a chemical dependency unit, and an outpatient chemical dependency program. Before managing these departments, Deidre worked as a bedside nurse in both locked psychiatric units and chemical dependency units.

Deidre expressed her enthusiasm “I am blessed to have the opportunity to work beside Nanette Zumwalt, in a field that I am so passionate about. The reputation that comes with Hired Power is one to be admired and I am so happy to be a part of the team.”

Before transitioning to addiction and behavioral health nursing, Deidre worked in the education field as a preschool teacher. Deidre obtained her Bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Development and then received her Master's in Nursing Leadership and Education.

Deidre currently resides In Orange County, CA with her husband and three children. Deidre’s passions include spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, gardening, party planning, crafting, and cooking.

Amy Hollis has served as a family/primary therapist at Visions Adolescent Treatment Centers in Los Angeles since 2019, where she has worked in adolescent dual diagnosis and mental health at every level of care. Prior to joining Visions, Amy has over 15 years of experience with children and families in school and health care settings. Amy is currently a doctoral student (Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology.

Jeff Wilson graduated from Tennessee State University with a Master's in Social Work and is licensed as a substance abuse counselor in the state of Tennessee. He has worked at Cumberland Heights for almost 10 years in a variety of roles. Jeff finds his passion and purpose working with young adults with substance use disorders. In his free time he loves getting outdoors with his wife and two kids.

Colonel Steven Maxwell is a seasoned law enforcement officer with 27 years of public service as an Agent of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. His leadership and management roles with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics include Group Supervisor of Special Operations, Captain of Special Operations, Captain of the Hattiesburg District, Captain of the Jackson Enforcement Team, Major of the Central Region, Major of the Southern Region, Lieutenant Colonel of Enforcement, Deputy Director, and Interim Director of MBN.

Colonel Maxwell has received numerous accolades, including the MBN Claude Stuckey Award, awarded for a sustained and superior record of service. Colonel Maxwell was also the recipient of the MBN Director’s Award, awarded for outstanding performance and contributions in furtherance of the Agency’s mission.

Colonel Maxwell is a lifelong resident of Mississippi and graduate of Stone County High School in Wiggins. Colonel Maxwell continued his education by attending Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he obtained an Associate’s Degree followed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corrections from Langston University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Colonel Maxwell is a graduate of the FBI 252nd National Academy Class and served as an adjunct faculty member of William Carey University from 2013-2018.

Travis W. Hupp, LADAC II, CAADC. Travis has been a member of the 12 Step Recovery Community since 1998. His natural evolution to the counseling community began in Lexington Kentucky with The Hope Center as a case manager followed by A&D Counselor for Fayette County Detention Center. Faced with the exciting opportunity to be a part of The Hope Center’s new facility, Travis decided instead to move his family from Lexington to Nashville, TN to raise his children closer to his family. He accepted an offer from Cumberland Heights Youth Program, where he continued to work towards his License for Alcohol and Drug counseling, while simultaneously working towards his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Lipscomb University. Travis moved from Clinical Associate to Extended Care Specialist. Having been trained in Recovery Dynamics, along with other classic trainings and completion clinical hours and obtaining his LADAC II, he was given the position of Primary Counselor, Youth Program. Travis then moved to a role as Clinical Coordinator for Cumberland Heights First Step Program, after his coordinator role Travis became the Director of the Cumberland Heights Young Men’s and Extended Care Programs. He is now serving as the Director of Milieu Management at Cumberland Heights.
